Mixer (3rd Shift)

1.
Able to follow specific recipes.
2.
Ensure quality specifications are met.
3.
Working knowledge of baking is a plus.
4.
Work with R&D, Commercialization, Production and Customers to ensure paste and mixing procedures are followed for new item roll out.
5.
Ensure that all Safety rules, OSHA requirements and Company Policies are followed.
Skills required:
1.
Food experience 2.
Good penmanship 3.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus 4.
Good communication 5.
Basic Math 6.
Trained in SQF System 7.
Previous mixing skills a plus 8.
Able to lift 50 lbs.
Physical Demand:
1.
Ability to work in and out of cold environment.
2.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
3.
Able to maneuver around an array of equipment, bend, stoop, climb and sit.
Education/
Experience:
1.
High School Graduation or equivalent It all started way back in 1948 back when we had an honest-to-goodness working farm on the outskirts of the bustling metropolis of Chicago.
As one of the largest specialty vegetable farms in the Midwest, we worked the land, bringing fresh produce to market.
And even though we've grown out of that first urban farm, we haven't forgotten what it means to be an Urban Farmer.
It means working with honesty, integrity and a dedication to providing the freshest products.
