High Performance Lubricants High Performance Lubricants Manteno, IL Manteno, IL Full-time Full-time $20 - $25 an hour $20 - $25 an hour 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago Synthetic lubricant blending facility is looking for a Lubricant QC Laboratory Technician to handle the day to day functions in their onsite laboratory.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to; operating the facility laboratory equipment to ensure materials are in spec, based on the manufacturers' guidelines, as well as the handling of all QC functions.
QC is conducted on, but is not limited to, raw materials, final product blends, research and development, etc.
The Lab Technician is also responsible for keeping documentation current and orderly within the lab, handle all lab related projects, as well as writing up necessary laboratory reports.
Desired candidate will be experienced in high-precision measurements (five decimals of a gram), pays close attention to detail, possesses good report writing skills, is organized, motivated and can work in a team environment, as well as individually.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience working in a lubricant (or chemical) laboratory and have experience working with some of the following lab equipment:
FTIR, TGA, ICP, MRV, CCS, TEOST and RPVOT.
