Vision Logistics is an asset-based intermodal carrier for Total Transportation Services (TTSI).
Operating within a 300-mile radius of our Manteno IL terminal, we specialize in 20' and 40' import and export drayage from the Chicago rails to and from central Indiana.
Vision Logistics provides accountability, quality, and reliable service with every load.
Vision Logistics is looking to acquire an experienced dispatcher in our Manteno, IL office.
Job Duties Include but not limited to:
Dispatching, coordinating, and scheduling of vehicles and drivers for meeting overall transportation and customer requirements.
Resolves schedule problems (i.
e.
, stop requests, updating maps, driver absenteeism, out-of-service vehicles, etc.
) ensuring all routes are covered.
Ability to handle large volume of phone calls and emails Able to navigate through various database platforms.
Microsoft Office Suite:
Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication Dispatch experience a Plus.
Dispatcher will also ensure system accuracy in live status; ensure completed work is updated and cleared properly in the system, including but not limited to proper dates and destination.
Dispatcher will also be responsible to monitor and update all load status and/or progress in dispatch system and verify that previously assigned moves have been completed.
Once verification has been made, these moves must also be closed out in the system to show delivered.

This position requires working in an office setting, long periods of time sitting.
Must be able to stand, bend, push and pull at least up to 10 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits Salary Range $50,000-$60,000 depending on experience Medical, vision and dental insurance offered after 60 days of employment.
